DRIVING HOME 2 U – PREMIERE & AFTER PARTY (DISNEY+)

Driving Home 2 U is Olivia Rodrigo’s Disney+ documentary based on her road-trip taken between Salt Lake City and Los Angeles, while performing songs from her album “Sour”. The design for this movie premiere was inspired by the settings from the movie, such as diners, mini-marts, camper vans, etc. Sour.

As the Assistant Art Director for this project, I played a key role in supporting the art and set decoration departments throughout the production process. My responsibilities included creating reference drawings to guide design decisions, assisting with scheduling and budgeting to ensure the timely and cost-effective execution of set builds, and maintaining clear communication with vendors to coordinate materials and deliveries. Additionally, I contributed to the creation of build drawings and provided on-the-ground leadership by supervising a team of on-set dressers during both installation and strike, ensuring that each detail was executed to the highest standard.
